Rapha Finds A Home!
Rapha received the best Christmas present in the year of 2015. It was the gift of a loving home, thanks to Chun Meng and Lynn, with their daughter, Sophie. The family is no stranger to Mercylight dogs. They adopted Special before welcoming Rapha to their humble abode.
Rapha was rescued just in the nick of the time. The story is actually quite extraordinary. Elsentina, Rapha’s mother, was rescued in October 2015. She looked like she has just given birth, so Mercylighters continued looking for her new-born pups as they would not survive without her. Even though the search was in vain, the vet surprised us with wonderful news that Elsentina was in fact heavily pregnant with two pups, and just a couple of days shy to delivery! The vet immediately performed a caesarean procedure on Elsentina and Rapha and his sibling were born.
Rapha has since adjusted extremely well to his new family. He is described as an energetic and playful dog, who loves finding companionship in others. Though at times to the annoyance of Special! Other than being a fast learner, Rapha is a spurt of confidence that is always bold and inquisitive to experience new things. The family recounted when showers of rain fell from the above for the first time in Rapha’s life, he bolted out to the garden and played in the rain without any care in the world.
